The Real Secret To Income Growth…...

One of the most valuable lessons I ever learn was that in order to grow your business, you need to do productive tasks on a regular basis.

There are 3 pillars that you must focus on: Product, List-Building (traffic), and Promotion.  Everything else is a waste of time.  Please go back and re-read these last 2 sentences again.

Although this report is focused on the traffic aspect of your business, the golden rule of constant execution applies to all 3 pillars.

The Income Maximizer…

The one question I am often asked is “How much money can I make?”

That depends on your efforts.  This is not some get-rich quick solution.  It is a system based on my own business model which virtually catapulted me from zero to $10k per month in less than a year.

This is a system for anyone who is serious about making money online, and that wants to build a real business that is sustainable over the long term.

Your end income will mirror your efforts.  If you only launch one site, don’t expect miracles.  However, if you follow the system and launch one site every 30 days, then a six-figure income is a realistic goal over the next 12 months.

Launching and promoting membership sites is a great way to earn recurring income.

However, you must always remember that each site becomes a real tangible business asset.

Apart from my regular monthly income, I have also gone on to sell some of my sites for a five-figure sum.

So this is just one more reason why you should stick with it.  Once your sites are established, you’ll have the option to cash-out at a tidy profit.

This approach is at the core of my business success.

Ok, so let’s get started and get your first site up and running!

Your Step By Step Blogging Plan

1.  Posting regularly

You need to post to your blog regularly. This is what attracts the search engines to visit your blog for more content.

If they visit and index your blog every day, your new blog posts will appear in the search engines on the very same day you made your post. No need to wait for the standard one week to get content indexed in the search engines.

With regular updated content, visitors are more likely to bookmark your blog and return to see what new information you have.

Note that if a visitor reads your blog for the first time and sees that the last update was made several months ago, they wouldn’t want to read your content.

Readers like to see blogs which are regularly updated. They want to read new information.

Try to blog once a day for the first 2 weeks to get the search engines regularly visiting your blog.

2.  Know Your Objective

With every post you create, there must be an objective behind it. So before you begin to write, ask yourself what do you want the readers to do or know about.

For example, if you’re reviewing a product you’re an affiliate of, make sure that at the end of the review you tell the readers what they should do.

Normally it is to purchase the product using your affiliate link or visit the merchant’s page for more details.

If you want your readers to sign up to your newsletter, then make sure that your whole post focuses on getting them to opt in to your newsletter.

3.  Be entertaining

With all your posts, you need to be entertaining. This is what people are looking for. To learn and to be entertained.

Always try to make your posts interesting. Put YouTube videos on them and write in a conversational way. You do this by writing as if you are writing to one person.

Use words that you would use when you talk to a friend. Tell them a joke and about your views. Always have entertainment in mind. Being boring is a sure way to kill traffic no matter how often you post.

4. Replying to Comments

When you have readers commenting on your posts, DO NOT ignore them. Give a polite and detailed reply if possible. This will motivate your readers to comment more.

It makes them feel you’re actively monitoring the blog and care about what they have to say. The more you interact with them, the more they will comment on your blog and tell others about it.

                                                              How To Make Money

After several weeks of blogging you should be receiving steady traffic from regular visitors.

Make sure that you tell the world about your blog such as in forums, in your email signature and in blog communities such as http://www.mybloglog.com

Once you have the traffic, you then can start to make money.  Here are 7 ways on how you can make money with your blog.

1. Placing Adsense

Google Adsense is one of the easiest ways to make money with a blog. You can sign up for a Google Adsense account at https://www.google.com/adsense

Adsense are advertisements which Google will automatically show on your blog based on the content.

So if your blog is about cell phones, Google will then display cell phone ads on your blog.

You can change the appearance of the Adsense to fit with your blog’s design. For example if your blog has a red background with black text, you can make the borders of the Adsense red and the text black.

The key is to blend the Adsense to your blog so that it doesn’t look too much like an advertisement.

Adsense is easy to make money with because you get paid when your readers click on the ads. You get paid per click.

However the amount you receive is not significant. You will only get a few cents or a dollar depending on what keywords you focused on.

The more traffic you get, the more money you will have. Some people have played this Adsense game very well and are making several thousands per week. This is well above average though.

To get that amount of pay, you need to have a lot of traffic.

Using Free Blogs

Free blogs are great to have because they don’t cost anything, they’re quick to build and they are excellent for building links, sending traffic to your website.

If you look at http://www.WordPress.com, it has a Google Page rank of 9 which is huge. It means that the Google search engine considers it to be an authority website. A website that is very important and will rank high in their search engine results.

So if you have a free blog created in WordPress.com with your keyword in the URL such as keyword.wordpress.com it means that you are getting a link from WordPress.com.

Google will see this and therefore rank your blog high in the search engines.

If you have not already done so, go to WordPress.com and create a user account and then create as many blogs as you can under this account.

The key is to use good keywords for the name of the blogs. Get them while they’re still available.

Remember the blogs’ URL have to be unique. If you’re serious with building good links to your main blog or main website, then create as many free WordPress or Blogger blogs as you can.

With these free blogs, you can post good content and tell the visitors to visit your main hosted blog or any other websites you want.

Using Hosted Blogs

WordPress is the most popular blog software which people use. Many serious bloggers host the WordPress in their web hosting account because it is easy to use and it is free of charge.

Plus there are many themes which you download for free to customize your blog so that it looks different from the rest.

You can even hire a freelance programmer to design a unique appearance for your blog.

Go to websites such as http://www.oDesk.com, http://www.elance.com, http://www.scriptlance.com and http://www.rentacoder.com to find these blog designers. A unique blog design will cost around $150 - $250.

To drive more traffic to your main blog, install a lot of free blogs and have a link to your own hosted blog. But you must have at least on self-hosted blog on your web host.

The reason is that with the free blog accounts you created with WordPress.com or Blogger.com, they may find your content unsuitable. Or someone may have
reported your content as copied or offensive.

Whatever the reason, the point is you risk having your free blog banned. Now if you spent months or even years posting good content to the free blog, you may lose everything overnight.

Don’t let this happen.

Have your own hosted WordPress blog on your own web hosting server and drive traffic to it using all the free blogs that you have. This is the method which other smart bloggers are using.

With your own hosted blog, you can write about what you want and have no risk of getting shut down. Unless of course you SPAM people with the domain name (which you should never do).

WordPress Plugins

The most powerful feature with a WordPress blog is the ability to install WordPress plugins to your hosted blog to make it much more advanced.

Here are the brief steps on how to install a plugin:

1.  Download the plugin to your hard disk and then using a FTP program, upload it your blog in the folder /wp-content/plugins

Depending on the type of plugin you’re installing, you may need to upload the whole folder or just a file.

Read the instructions of how to install the plugin in the plugins web page.

2.  Once the plugin is uploaded, login to your blog and click on the Plugins link on the left hand menu. You will see a list of plugins you have available.

Click on the link Activate to start your plugin. Depending on what plugin you installed, you may need to configure it.

Check the web page where you downloaded the plugin to see what configurations you need to do to complete the installation.

That is all there is to installing a plugin. The best places to find plugins for your blog is at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

Have a good look to see what kind of plugins are suitable for you.

Make sure that the plugins matches the version of the WordPress software you’ve installed.

Here are a list of WordPress plugins which are useful to have:

Free Blog Installation

There are two types of blogs which you can install and use. Free hosted, which are free to register and create. Examples of free hosted blogs are:

Wordpress (http://www.wordpress.com)
Blogger (http://www.blogger.com)

Here is a step by step on how to set up a free blog using Wordpress.com

1.Go to http://www.wordpress.com and click on the big Sign Up button which you can’t miss.

2.Choose a username for the blog. The link will become username.wordpress.com so choose one which is short and easy to remember.

Many people will have created a blog using the free hosted Wordpress so they will have taken up a lot of usernames. You need to find a unique username to login to your Wordpress account with.

3.Then enter a password that you will use to login to your free blog account and also an email address to send the login information to.

Choose the option “Gimme a Blog”. Make sure it is checked. Otherwise you will just create an account with Wordpress with no blog.

4.In the next screen, you can enter the title of your blog. This is very important for search engine optimization.

Use a title which has the keywords for your business at the beginning. In the example I use, I have the words “Buy Guitar Music” which is meaningful and has a lot of searches for this phrase.

It would be a waste of time placing a title such as “Jimmy’s Blog” since it doesn’t tell the readers anything about the blog.

Plus people will not search for that keyword phrase to find what they want to know about guitar music.

5.After you have clicked Sign Up, the system will send you an email which you need to confirm to activate your account. Once you click on the activation link in the email, you can then login with the username and password you created.

Now that was easy wasn’t it?

Installing A Hosted Blog

Next we will look at how you can set up and host your blog on your own web hosting server. If you don’t currently have web hosting, I suggest you get a good one at Hostgator which is excellent and reliable service.

Their prices are also very reasonable.

Get a Hostgator web hosting package at http://www.hostgator.com

1.After you have setup your domain name with your web hosting account, login to your Hostgator Cpanel which should look like
    http://<<yourdomainname.com>>/cpanel

2.Then you will need to click on the icon, Fantastico De Luxe. This is a great tool which is available with Hostgator’s cpanel. It allows you to create blogs, forums and other useful features quickly.

3.Next click on Wordpress under the Blogs section on the left hand menu.

4.You will then see the screen to install WordPress. Click on the link New Installation

5.For the Install in directory field, type in the directory where you want to install your blog. If you want to have a blog using the domain name, the leave this field blank.

If you want to install your blog using the same website as your business website then you can install your blog in a directory called blog.

So, http://www.xxxx.com will show your business website and http://www.xxxx.com/blog will show your blog.

Next enter the username and password which you would use to login to WordPress from the browser.

Finally, you should give a nickname for the administrator. This is the name that is used to identify who posted to the blog. For search engine purposes, put your keyword as the nickname.

If my business was in selling cell phones, I would use cell phones as the nickname.

Same applies to the Site name. Place your keywords near the beginning to improve search engine rankings.

6.Click the button Install WordPress and your blog will be automatically installed.

7.You will then get instructions on how to login to your blog and you can start blogging.

A little bit more complex than creating a free blog but it’s not rocket science.

I will be happy getting reply on my post..............
